  • Play a 5 minute match agains a super smart AI
  • Choose among 4 different players, each with 3 unique units
    • One requires Coil subscription
    • One requires you to mint an NFT on the NEAR (testnet) blockchain
  • Play on Mobile

NEAR features are only available on https://clash-of-cuisine.4everland.app/ because itch.io doesn’t support NEAR login.

Short Post Mortem

The game is as good as it gets for the game jam within the given time limit. It’s been 2 tough weeks. I’ve spent nights and some early mornings working on the entry, but it has been a lot of fun. I’ve learned much during the process, and my favourite part is being able to mint your own NFT and use the character’s units in-game.

Here’s a list of small things I thought I would be able to add:

  • Make eyes of character follow ball
  • Own music (Used one sound track from this pack instead)
  • Better AI, which tries to hit the ball instead of just random places
  • Better quality units (some are made in only a few minutes)
  • Improve collisions to feel better
  • Super charged shots could smash and destroy a unit (similar to Rocket League). The unit respawns.

What’s next?

I’ve been playing the game a lot while developing. I think it’s fun, but it can be a lot better. The game really needs an online multiplayer feature. Playing agains friends.
